Tony's Cabs: A Site That Takes the Booking
A replacement for an ageing Wix site: current photos of the Drogheda fleet, the services written out, and a quote form that captures the run.
The Opportunity
Tony’s Cabs has run taxis out of Drogheda since 1988, from a single car to the largest fleet in Louth, still family-run from Stockwell Lane and still answering the phone 24 hours a day. The website had not kept up. It sat on Wix, unchanged for years, with missing photographs, thin pages, and no working form to catch an enquiry. People who would have booked online had to already know the freephone number.
What We Built
- A homepage that leads with the freephone, 1800 60 60 70, and a quote form for the run
- Service pages for local journeys across Louth, fixed-price airport transfers to Dublin and Belfast, event transport, and contract work with monthly billing
- The fleet written as it is: saloons and estates, an 8-seater, executive cars, and wheelchair accessible vehicles
- Local guides, so the site has something to say about Drogheda, Dundalk, Newgrange and the towns around them
- A booking page with pickup, drop-off, date and the type of job, plus consent to use those details, and a reply the same working day
- The number people already remember, 0868 Ten Ten Forty, kept on the page
The Results
- An enquiry no longer depends on someone already knowing who to ring
- The price is quoted up front and stays fixed once it is confirmed
- Photographs of the cars replace the empty spaces the old site had left for years
- A passenger, a hen party or a business account can each find the page that matches the job
The Result
Enquiries reach the desk, and the fleet is finally on the page
